Balfour Park Loop is a 1.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Toronto, Ontario, Canada that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Too icy and slippery. The start of the trail shown in the maps is in the middle of a residential area where you can’t even park the car. We had to go to the main park area. Didn’t find any designated parking area. Also the trail entrance near the bridge looks closed but there is narrow entry left for people to pass through. It is confusing. There is also a part of the loop where there is small hole in the fence to go across which doesn’t feel right and i couldn’t see the path forward from there as well. Had to turn back. The trail/loop is overall beautiful but right now it is very slippery and some parts are confusing.
Really nice in some sections. Fall down icy in others. And lots of mud 25% of trail. Partly because of weather and I. Part because of construction at the north end.
