Awesome area that needs to be on the itinerary of every visitor to the area. It’s a beautiful, serene and easy place to explore, with an edge-of-the-earth type of feel.

After a short walk, you will encounter the tip of the land (a cliff) and the ocean. It felt like I was in Scotland. So beautiful!

Amazing views. Rocky terrain. Very windy. Recommend not driving up the dirt path, lots of pot holes. Park at the bottom of harbour.

Our favourite for ‘hanging out’ and exploring. Beautiful area, easy walk, very open. High traffic area out to and at the point, but we enjoy continuing further on the trail along the coastline-in doing so, we’ve been able to watch seals playing! Please stay on trail though- Fragile vegetation! Parking not so great !

I got engaged here, so I’m biased. But totally worth seeing if you have some time. Easy walk and cool things to see

The Scottish highlands dressed in drag with a coke problem - this highly unseen pastor of couples in love and screaming birds ready to rip the Venus from your heart, you won’t regret this wrong turn on your way to the (insert Boston accent here) CHOWDER HOUSE! Dressed as a young schoolboy I stayed close to the edge of the cliff while fighting the urge to jump into the water and join the unidentified squawking birds. Tourists: we hate them as much as we need them. Praise the unidentified sailor buried there.

The best trail we did in Cape Breton. Very short but very grand looking. You can see many birds. Highly recommend.

Very easy hike with spectacular views. So in easy in fact you could pack a gourmet lunch and hike to a spot and then eat while enjoying some of the best views in Cape Breton. Drive up the hill to the right of house number 2119 and you will find a wide area off to the right where you can park and start your hike.

adorer! sentier facile pour les debutants comme moi et le decor et vraiment beau! c’est un décor différent du reste de la cabot trail mais en voyant toujours les montagnes au loin! on a aperçu des baleines non loin des berges!

Concur with all the 5 star reviews here. Be prepared for strong winds.

A nice walk out on a point - very peaceful! It smells amazing too, there must be some herbs growing. We saw lots of whales from the point too!

Must see. Park by the harbour at the bottom. We walked to the end and back to our car within an hour. Probably the most unique trail on the Cabot trail

Just a must do! Amazing trail with awsome view! Very windy! Give it an hour or so to take in the beauty and to explore the little trails! Go also right, nice beach! I recommend parking at the little harbour.

We walked this trail Thursday and it was beautiful! A must see short hike along the Cabot trail. The view is spectacular! Great for kids as well.

This is an easy trail on a treeless point so there is almost 360 degree view of ocean and rocky cliffs. One could just spend the day there and just take in the views. It is simplest to park in the town Harbour and walk the dirt road for 50 yards to start the trail which is never in the woods. Bring your lunch and find a large rock otherwise head back into the Harbour and there is a picnic table. If you are on the Cabot Trail don’t miss this beautiful easy hike.

Gorgeous lookouts, you can do it as a loop, peer down into the little coves to see large groups of purple jellyfish, lovely sound of shorebirds at the end
