St. Margaret’s Bay Rails to Trails is a 26.4 kilometer moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Hubbards, Nova Scotia, Canada that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The trail is an old railway trail site, and is part of the Trans Canada trail. The trail is relatively flat and easily travelled gravel pathway, offering views of wildlife, wildflowers, lakes, the bay, and the surrounding forests. Parking Information: Parking is available at numerous sites along the 32km (19.9 mi) trail. Best parking is at either end of the trail, as well as in Tantallon at the parking lot of the Bike and Bean Café, directly along the trail, where bikes can be rented to explore the trail.
A great hike out to the lake. Great spot to take a picnic and spend some time by the lake.
