Shubie Park is located in Darmouth, Nova Scotia. The park offers a variety of activity options including a fully serviced campground, recreational facilities, canoe/kayak rentals and access, hiking, biking and walking trails, a beach, and off-leash dog trails. The trails feature interpretative panels discussing the historic importance of the area as a portion of the Shubenacadie Canal. The trail system is extensive with numerous footpaths and offshoots, with navigation being difficult at times. Parking Information: Parking is available onsite at the main entrance of the park near the Campground check-in, or at the Canoe/Kayak rental area. Parking is also available near the wooden bridge, accessed by driving straight down the gravel pathway at the entrance, beside the playground and campsites, towards the baseball park.

Great place for a walk. Easy trails. Lots of squirrels and birds. Lots of places to stop. Great place to go during any season.

Excellent gentle ramble for all ages . Reasonably picturesque and perfect for loads of off leash dog walking. Brilliantly maintained trails here .

A dog's heaven! Lots of water and plenty of off leash areas. Very easy hike, but very icy in the winter. The trail connects to the trans Canada trail!
