Did this trail today in about four hours. Would definitely recommend lots of sunscreen and many layers as the open areas over the water are very cold and the inland areas get very hot! Lots of bikes!!

Nice and easy out and back trail with beautiful scenery. You can really see how quickly the tide moves when standing on the bridges.

Trail is beautiful to walk, run or bike. I have biked the whole thing all the way to Lawrence town beach and back and it’s breath taking. Also a very nice place to walk your dogs or run!

Good day for a bike ride on Salt Marsh Trail. Dry trail and not much people at 5:00. Got a bit buggy at the end around 5:30-6:00. Good trail overall. Recommend it.

I really enjoyed this one. It was a gentle easy stroll or walk at a fast pace if you want. A lot of people so it can get busy but the views can be beautiful and places to sit if you want to have a rest. Coming back the same way isn’t as much fun but I still saw lots of birds and the sun reflecting differently on the water. It is a well maintained flat surface.

Excellent for hiking or biking. In extreme weather or hot and cold you experience the feeling of being all by yourself.

We love Salt Marsh trail especially in spring/ early summer and fall. It can be a bit too windy if the weather is windy or gets too hot in peak of hot weather. But otherwise it’s a great trail. You can see blue herons, eagles and many other interesting birds and sea creatures. It’s well maintained and has washroom in the beginning if needed. Great for hiking, biking.

Would be great for biking, though I wish I didn’t have to double back and return on the same route. Great scenery and bird watching. Loved catching the tide changing at Lawrencetown Beach which is where I parked. Very flat and manicured trail, beginner /afternoon stroll level of skill required. Very much a wheelchair accessible trail!!!!

Only walked about 4km on this trail, but it was an easy stroll with beautiful views of the saltwater marsh. I think this trail would be most enjoyable taking a bike and covering more distance.

Absolutely awesome. Had my six year old ride along side for 16kms and my three year old in a bike trailer all the way to Lawrencetown beach. My wife stayed with the kids while I rode back to Bissett Lake to get the car. Great day!

Great biking trail! Scenic, well-groomed. Came out at Lawrencetown Beach - fantastic spot to stop and rest and then turn around and head back. Love it!
