Old Coach Road Trail is located in Bedford, near Halifax, Nova Scotia. The trail is a short gravel pathway winding through the Ravines subdivision and surrounding woods. The trail leads from Southgate Drive to Vanier Way, to a newer lesser developed gravel and wood mix path continuing after Vanier. This newer portion of the trail is in development, and can be difficult to follow as it contains numerous, non-mapped foot paths. Keeping left will lead down a rocky wooded slope to the end of a cul-de-sac, from which visitors can then turn around and head back towards Southgate. Parking Information: Best parking is in the small make-shift parking area on the lefthand side of Southgate Drive, across from the apartment building. From here cross the street and walk 80m to the trailhead. Street parking is also available on Southgate and Vanier, but visitors should be cautious of signage and not to block surrounding residential driveways.
