Old Annapolis Road Trail is a short wooded loop around Rees Lake, in Boutiliers Point, near St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia. The trail was once well maintained by the Province, but no longer receives maintenance and should be followed with caution, especially in areas with a bridge and wooden planks. The trail is well marked with signs that are in relatively good condition, and is a easily followed path offering beautiful views. The trail is accessed by following an access road for approximately 7km. The access road is bumpy and at times steep and should be driven with care. Parking Information: Parking is available at the clearly directly adjacent to the trailhead off of Hiking Trail Road (a logging access road).

Quiet and secluded. Nice variety of terrain and scenery; brush, cedar, birch, lakes, small bridges, and an island. A few of the bridges were a little sketchy but t adds to the fun.
