The trail guides visitors through the park, along the lake, picnic area, and small beach, and through the woods surrounding the park. The pathway is relatively flat and mostly gravel, making it suitable for all levels of recreationalists. The area is also open to visitors who wish to boat, canoe, kayak, swim, have a picnic, bike, and walk their dogs. Parking Information: Parking is available at Oakfield Provincial Park in either of the two parking lots, as well as by the gate when the park is closed (after 8pm) or in the off season (mid-October to April).
