Very pretty trail with some great coastal scenery. There are a number of scenic lookouts and areas to explore, with a couple of them were overgrown with downed trees. Can also get muddy in areas. This trail is probably on the harder end of easy difficulty as it has a few small hills as well as a rocky area or two.

This was our end of day hike (the third hike of the day). It was a great way to finish the day...relatively easy with great views.

Great intro to the Cabot trail. This narrow neck of land juts well out to the sea, allowing some perspective on the regional geography and topography. Easy path, well marked and maintained with numerous vantage points and beautiful views over sea cliffs to south across the bay to Cape Smokey; Ingonish island and mountains across the bay to the north.

Loved this little trail as the views at the end were wonderful. Not many people on it when we went so just chilled at the end for about 20 minutes soaking in the scenery. Not a difficult hike so typical roots and some stumps but easily maintained and no problem with finding your way. Breezy at the end so hold on to the hat or flip it backwards. Nice Adirondack chair to sit in at the end and saw some different birds hanging around the rocks. Definitely recommended.

Easy hike overall, with lots of opportunities to branch off the main path for lookouts. Ending view was lovely, very scenic, though can get quite windy and cool depending on the conditions that day, so dress accordingly. Good footwear recommended as there are lots of roots on the trail.

Easy quick trail with nice views along the way. Rained and was foggy the day we did it so our views were a bit limited but still nice. Some areas were a bit slick due to the weather but on a nice day proper footwear wouldn't really be a concern.

Beautiful views on this trail. Doesn't take overly long so a stop while touring the Cabot Trail is worth it. Make sure to wear proper footwear even though the hike is pretty easy.

Nice trail, fairly easy but a lot of people seem to think that means flip flops or high heels will be fine. The trail is rock and root or dirt, very little in the way or boardwalks. It does tend to be busy through the summer, it is a highly promoted trail in this part of the park.

nice simple trail. nothing too challenging and provides awesome views of the area. I found that there was an abundance of mosquitoes though.
