The Martinique Beach trail is a beach length trail located at Martinique Beach Provincial Park, in Eastern Shore, Nova Scotia. The trail begins at the first beach (off of parking lot 1), and loops up into the grass at the rocky point between beaches. From here it then takes you to the main Martinique beach which can be walked in full. At the end of the beach there is a further portion of land jutting out into the sea, composed of rock and woods. It is possible to walk through here to reach the point, however extreme caution is advised as this is nesting ground for a number of bird species, including the endangered Piping Plover. Parking Information: Numerous parking sites are located all along the length of the beach, however if completing the beach trail it is best to park at site 1.
