Kidston Lake Trail is located in Rockingstone Park in Herring Cove, Nova Scotia. The park includes Kidston Lake and the surrounding mini beach, as well as the historic "rocking stone". Historically the park was a homestead owned by Kidston family, within which the giant glacial erratic can be found and can supposedly be "rocked" by jumping on a log as a lever. The park includes many side trails and pathways. This map follows the most easily accessible gravel and dirt pathways in this almost always flooded and muddy area. Parking Information: Best parking is at the Rockingstone Park parking lot at the end of Fieldstone Street.

I love it up there i just dont like the fact they cut all them trees down and cleared all that land and now it just sits there and they are doing nothing with it....there were sooo many good trails up there until they did the clear cutting...I like going up to the big open marsh land up there where the round little pond is
