Kings Quarry Trail is a short out and back trail located in the Purcell's Cove Backlands, near Halifax, Nova Scotia. The trail leads up a steep hill and into the backlands woods, along Purcell's Pond and up to a beautiful look off. The look off offers views of the Halifax Harbour and city below. From here the pathway can be followed down the steep granite hill face and a few metres more to the entrance at the Purcells Cove Social Club. Visitors choosing to follow the extension should take extreme caution. Parking Information: Parking is available at the Purcells Cove Backlands trailhead on Purcells Cove Road.
