Gibraltar Rock Loop starts approximately 100m from Highway 357 trailhead parking for the Musquodoboit Trailway near Halifax, Nova Scotia. The trail is a short backcountry loop featuring sharp beginning and end elevations and beautiful look-off views. The trail features trail markers and kilometer markers, and is best used from April to October, when little to no snow is present. Given the steep elevation gains and backcountry nature, the trail is not wheelchair or stroller friendly. Gibraltar Rock Loop ends at the trailhead entrance for North Granite Ridge Trail, and loops back to the Musquodoboit Trailway for 2.5km to the parking area. Parking Information: Best parking is at the Musquodoboit Trailway parking lot along Highway 357.

More rock scrambling than expected but the views are well worth it. Make sure you hit the rocky peak rather than the look out near the top (could have easily fooled me). The path is nice and has shading for hot days
