The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

Crowbar Lake Trail to West Lake is a trail located in Porter’s Lake, Nova Scotia. The trail is part of the Crowbar Lake Hiking Trail system, and begins at the parking lot on Myra road. From here the trail winds upwards on a steep incline and along the side of Granite Lake. From here the trail proceeds to what is known as the West Lake loop, circling around West Lake. This trail contains numerous bushkwhacking sections in the later portion as you move further into the Wilderness Area, and given the steep incline is a lengthly trail. Visitors should proceed with caution and plenty of water, as well as emergency supplies. Parking Information: Parking is available at the trailhead at 1800 Myra Road.
