Open year round. Makes a steady ascent up the face of the mountain. Upon reaching the apex, the trail begins to level off. Pittmans Lodge at top of trail. From Pittmans Lodge there are options, returning on the same track or continuing along the northern loop.

Fantastic all year hiking trail. Great for all ages, first .5K is all uphill with a bench to rest if needed. Once at the top, the view is amazing.
