Colpitt Lake is a short lakeside trail located in the Purcell's Cove Backlands, near Halifax, Nova Scotia. The trail is a short path leading along the rocks behind Mica Crescent, overlooking Halifax and Colpitt Lake. From here the paths winds down to the lake and alongside. At the edge of the lake the paths crosses over a broken down wooden bridge, from here the path does continue upwards before reaching a site currently housing illegal human activity and becoming no longer safe nor possible to follow. The path can be followed also to the left of the lake form the Mica Crescent trailhead up to the end of Drysdale road, or from Mica Crescent to the right to complete Fight Trail. Parking Information: Parking is currently available alongside Mica Crescent at the empty lots, limited parking is also available at the end of Drysdale Road (this will require walking down a steep hill before getting onto the path).
