Cabin Lake Trail is a short trail located in Bedford, near Halifax, Nova Scotia. The trail winds through the surrounding woods behind the Hemlock Ravines residential subdivision, ending with views of Cabin Lake. The trail is moderately flat crusher dust, with steep elevations, and no winter maintenance. The two loops in the trailhead are also water storage areas, prone to flooding during heavy rain. The final loop winds around a gravel bed behind residential housing, but is a great spot for viewing wildlife such as birds and deer. Parking Information: Two parking lots exist for the trail. The first is at the trailhead on Transom Drive. The second is at the trail end, on Starboard Drive. Starboard drive parking offers adjacent access to the Fleet Trail.
