Woolfrey’s Pond is a 2.4 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Lewisporte, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until November.
Beautiful, well maintained boardwalk around the entirety of Woolfrey's pond. A walker's dream. The entire trail is wheelchair friendly except for the very top of the lookout. Lots to see and do on this trail for all ages and mobility levels.
63 Serviced Sites with 20, 30 & 50 amp service and water hook-up, 20 non-serviced sites. The park has 24 hour security, comfort station, sandy beach for swimming. It was a nice trail but I do think it needs some updating. The trail is beautiful but my friend and I were walking with a stroller and we had to pull over and let people pass so I think it definitely needs to be wider, and at one point the stroller was shaking so much because the boards were so far apart.
Fully accessible board walk trail. You can park at the end o of Pond, George or Coronation street as there are multiple points of entry. If you enter at the park you must pay a $4 beach fee. Great work done building this trail.
