This is a very pretty trail, but I found my nose glued to the map the whole time. There are SO MANY forks in the road, I felt lost most of the time. Also very muddy, but nothing unexpected for late November! Pretty trail, but truly confusing. I probably wouldn't recommend it.
The trail was a little difficult to find. once we actually got on the trail it was great. As other people have mentioned, keep checking the map to make sure you're on the trail. It was muddy in sections, but not too bad. We didn't finish it as we had our 6 year old daughter with us (she loved it and was able to hike it no problem) and we started a little late in the day. We do plan on completing it eventually.
Make sure to pay attention to your map easy to go off trail. Also watch out for the mountain bikes almost got hit twice.
Stay focused on trail path. There are lots of dilemma in the trail
This is obviously a mountain bike trail, but it isn't too bad of a hike. Keep an eye on your map though because there's a lot of awkward turns and side paths you have to take to stay on trail, if you don't watch the GPS you will be off track. Also, GPS signal will be lost in the heavier wooded areas.
Beautiful trail, the starting point is incorrect. Stick with the map and check the map every few minutes. it's really easy to go off trail. nice viewpoint and you're in the woods all the time
