HikingGreat!

Great trail! One of the better hikes on the East Coast Trail. Plenty of coastal views and woods trail so there's something for everyone. Also 2 waterfalls! There are a few places where the board walks are in need of repair. No parking directly at the trail heads, park the churches on either end. I would definitely recommend this trail!

Great hike but muddy and slippery in places. Some boardwalks need replacing so be cautious on them. Scenery was spectacular. Don't forget the waterfalls.

Amazing trail. So many beautiful views. Needs some maintenance. Lots of broken boards. Wet in some areas. Otherwise breathtaking and worth the hike!

Beautiful cliff views! Absolutely breathtaking! The boardwalks on the trail need a little work as they are broken and overgrown. Definitely recommend this hike. A long one but so worth it!

Beautiful trail. Some parts need repair which is totally understandable considering this is the start of the season. A good few stairs at the start of the trail which might be hard for new hikers. Highly recommend.

Great trail! Some areas have a lot of felled trees and you need to scramble to get around them. Only went up to red head cove but gorgeous views and beautiful trail that shelters from coastal wind but allows views the entire time

Absolutely love this trail! Did it yesterday, and it was a little muddy but totally fine in water-resistant footwear. Near Red Head, there is a section with a lot of trees down caused by winter damage, but you can definitely get over and around them, just with some difficulty.

Snow is almost gone from trail, one section is hard to get through as the snow has frozen over but in general its clear. The wind has knocked over trees on a section near the lookout, can be easy to lose the trail.

Trail could use a little attention, as the occasional step was out, and some boards were broken. It’s all fine though. Beautiful vistas and a great hike. We only went from the Hickey’s lane access (park by the rec centre / St.Michael’s church), out to a little beyond the Red Head lookout, then did a little loop on the ATV or mtn bike trails and then back. All gorgeous, and a nice little outing. You can also find some nice safe spots to put your feet into the river after the falls. Very refreshing!

Amazing experience. There are waterfalls, cliffs, amazing vistas and a great mix open and wooded sections. We saw porpoises, whales and many different birds. one of the best.
