Running

Completed the north head trail then turned right on to the ladies lookout trail and then on to cuckolds cove trail (Burma Road) a lovely 5K loop. Trails in great condition. Lots of trail ribbons behind the visitors Center, just keep going towards the water and you’ll hit the main trail. Some tight areas for people passing by of course but otherwise great. I was half hiking / running for time reference.

Used to do this trail lunch time whenever I could when I worked downtown. A must do if you are visiting. Such a special place for me.

Can I give more than 5 stars? This was an amazing hike. Very challenging with the elevation but SO worth it! I did need to use the All Trails GPS map to keep in the trail after Battery Dr so I didn't end up out on the road and just walking back up the sidewalk. I kept to the trail and came up the stairs back at the tower. Took me just an hour and it was fantastic!

HikingGreat!

Beautiful scenery. Stairs are very steep, so it may not be appropriate for small children or someone with mobility issues. If you go around the beginning of August you may even see some whales!

Great views! I’ve done this numerous times. I always start with Lady Lookout Trail-North Head-Burma Trail. Takes roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes. Definitely gets the heart pumping and is a good work out. Lots of stairs going up Lady Lookout and North Head. Dog friendly and usually heavily trafficked.

It was a beautiful day to be out hiking the trail! It was not windy, and wasn’t too hot. We did the trail with my best friends 6 year old and even she loved the trail. Kid friendly for sure.
