This trail start at the Fortune Head Geology Centre. There's signage and painted footprints to follow along the wharf that will bring you past colourful fishing stages. Once past the first sign, head down the dirt road a 100 hundred feet and the trail then turns into a wooded area. Follow the trail until you get to the campground where signage well lead you through to the other side where the trail once again enters the wooded area. The trail then follows the brook until you reach the dirt road. You can then either turn around and follow the same path out or continue 3kms up the dirt road. At the end of the dirt road there's an ecological reserve, lighthouse, and another trail (map of the trail found on AllTrails). While on the Horsebrook Trail, don't forget to look for fossils which can be found all through out the brook and waters edge.

HikingGreat!

This is a nice community trail with some interesting informative signs along the way about the history of the area. It’s worth doing if you are in the area but I wouldn’t make a special trip to the area just to do this trail.

Relaxing walking trail with nice information boards. There are fossils at one point along the brook. Be careful of hogweed!
