This beautiful trail provides opportunities for iceberg viewing in the spring and summer and berry picking in the fall. Whales can be seen from the many viewpoints. Its recommended to start at the southern trailhead near the Lions RV park. That way, you walk down the many stairs which is much easier than walking up the stairs.

Beautiful Trail! Well maintained and easy if you start from the southern trailhead. Starting from the north means you have to climb hundreds of stairs which is more difficult.
