This is a great trail and a must if you are in the area. It’s steep in some spots but not too steep that we couldn’t do it while carrying our 3 year old on our shoulders. We also saw a five year old and an elderly couple make it to the top. At the summit, a brand new viewing platform with telescope had just been constructed. A lot of work and money has been put into making this trail fantastic and accessible to all ages.
A beautiful trail, very well maintained. Some slightly strenuous climbing at the halfway point, and near the lookout point. If you want to view the sunrise, which can be spectacular, I would try to start your walk about one hour before dawn. Note there is no trailhead parking, and the residents have "no parking" signs up, so park on Penny's Pond Road.
