Great trail. Mostly in the woods with gorgeous coastal views. It is a moderate trail with lots of ups and downs. Need waterproof hikers in areas if it has been raining. We didn’t get wet today tho. Highly recommended
Good trail with excellent signage and plenty of benches. Moderate difficulty.
Beautiful well maintained trail. Mostly wooded trail until the end and then you are rewarded with gorgeous views!
Easy stroll with great panoramic views near the end. Saw some whales along the coast!
Good trail. Mostly woods but the diamond in the rough is at the end! Breathtaking view, and even some whales! 7.6 km
Beautiful coastal trail. Lots of smalĺ hills Scenery was spectular!!! Not recommend for anyone mobility challenged but otherwise would highly recommend. I would rate it as easy/moderate. Longer than 6 km in and out...more like 7.5. We walked the costal trail in and took the ATV trail out. Was a gorgeous hike...well worth doing!!
Excellent trail for hiking, well marked and maintained, great views too. It’s closer to 7.2km total not 6km. We took our dog and it was perfect! Could be muddy after rain but wasn’t bad when we did it. There is one set of stairs and a couple steep spots but overall easy going with benches along the way.
Great trail! Well marked, with arrows and well beaten, easy to follow. Did the hiking trail in and the bike trail out, would recommend doing the hiking trail both ways, the bike trail was in the woods and boring. Definitely an easy hike, great for kids or the average person looking for an afternoon walk.
Did this yesterday!! The reviews do not do justice at all! The trail is WELL singed (looked to be new). and also lots of benches which looked new as well. There is a map of the trail with marked spots at the beginning, take a picture of it because there is a WW2 tower & Otter Holes that we missed! views were amazing will definatly be back to check out what I missed!! Our distance was 7.5 km. The route on this map is not exactly accurate as you do not have to go in and out, you can take a bike path back out, which is marked with arrows and is much more easier than the coastline trail. (There are also lots of other alternate routes to explore which are marked on the map at the beginning. Enjoyed so much. View Demaris Moreys Recording to see the loop we did.
Great trail, though it's more like 7.2 km out and back, not 6. took my kids ages 5, 9 and 12. totally doable with kids if they'll listen to stay off the edge of the cliff. great signage, lots of benches along the way to stop and sit for a rest. great views. the trail can be a bit wet, so best take your hiking boots. if you do the trail in sneakers you'll end up with wet feet.
we kept to the right on the way in and walked the scenic route around the cliff side. There are some hilly spots that are a bit steep but over all not too bad. We came back the loop way which was considerably easier as it was an atv trail. Much quicker going back that way, although with all the recent rain it was very wet in some places. My sneakers got wet but on a nice day it wasn’t a huge worry :)
