Upper Salmon River Trail is a 10.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Alma, New Brunswick, Canada that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Belle randonnée longeant la rivière. Quelques traverses à faire dans l'eau, mais nous avons eu la chance de voir des saumons dans leur habitat naturel lors de la randonnée!!!

This trails goes farther up the river than described here. I believe total there and back from the fork is 16.4 km parts of it were a little more complex as you had to watch your footing. Overall a great trail really makes you feel like you are in the wilderness. A few river crossings but a rope was provided for you and the water was very refreshing while hiking.

Did this as part of the Fundy Circuit in 2014..really nice trail with a couple decent water crossings. The end by the visitor centre was a little confusing.
