only gave 4 stars because the majority of the hike is fairly uninteresting. However, the end is amazing. When you arrive at the falls, there is a very steep descent to get down. The falls themselves are beautiful and the area is extremely green and peaceful. We brought our bathing suits and did a polar dip of sorts, water was freezing! Great experience though!

This is a very good hike. We arrived at 1130 and finished the walk at 1400-1500. The path is very muddy so wear your hiking boots - pretty slippery around the water path too (I slipped) so make sure your shoes have a good grip, okay? Make sure you follow the path all the way to the falls - you can get lost pretty easily — so follow the signs and the orange tree tags. Other than that, I had so much fun. It’s a very scenic route. I took tons of photos.

The falls are beautiful and worth the effort. Much of the trail is straightforward and rocky, with a sometimes tricky descent and ascent at the end. The rest is a decent walk through the woods.

Billions of red squirrels everywhere. Bathroom at the beginning. Took us about 2 hr 15 minutes. We were the first car there at 845 on a Tuesday.

Walk the forest floor on paths and over roots. Climb down to the waterfalls on stairs, path and over rocks to a beautiful piece of nature.

A really nice family hike. The rock bed leading into and out of the waterfalls was interesting while carrying 30lb toddler on my back but we made it and had fun.

A great midday hike with the family, the trail was no problem for the kids aged 7 and 10. The waterfall at the end was very impressive and the water was refreshingly cool in the pool.

I went with an experienced hiker. It was my first hike ever! It says about 1.5-2hrs each way but we were able to do it in 55mins. The was down was fun and not too difficult, to an amazing waterfall that u can swim at. The elevation on the way back up KILLED me and weve been sore for 3 days now. But after you make it back up you have about 3km of nice flat walking so you get to recover by the time you make it back to the car. Also if u have a trailer you have to park 2km farther back so that into account as well.

Great trail! Steep at the end to get to the falls but well worth it. Water falls are fantastic.

Great trail. The falls at the end make the trip worthwhile.

good hike , big waterfall and popular. down hill to waterfall then a steep walk back that is not the easiest but good work out

The first 2 km is a gentle declining slope. It then gets difficult and becomes quite strenuous closer to the falls. At the stream, you have to go along the bank, then cross over the water via some wet rocks and roots to get down to the falls. Be careful with your footing and it's easy to keep your feet dry. In mid May the water throughput is low enough to cross the stream, but during the spring thaw I'd assume that the water would be too high to cross the stream safely. The falls are amazing and are well worth the effort. Hiking with a buddy and hiking sticks are a must.
