Sussex Bluff Trail is a 2.2 mile out and back trail located near Sussex Corner, New Brunswick, Canada that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and birding and is best used from April until October.
A short one but a good one.
This is one of my favorite trails... mainly because it is in my own back yard, and the view is spectacular. This trail crosses over private property, so for years it was always a "secret jem" that only local people knew about. But because of the amazing view, and how easily accessible it is, as more people heard of it, more people are using it now. We saw at least 30 people on the short hike in and out. The first peak has the widest view (can see to Waterford/Poley Mountain area to the left and all the way to the neighboring Town of Sussex on the right) and the second peak is the highest peak. There are 2 others afterwards as well, that lead to a ATV trail. This is highly recommended for families. While parts of the trail run along the front of the rock face, there are also "safer trails" that lead back into the woods to stay away from the rock face. We hike it with a 3yr old and an 8yr old with no issues. Get out and catch the fall colors. Its worth the hike
Great views and great trail.
Great views! Easy trail once you find the trail head by the water tower.
Quick and easy hike for a really nice view. Fun taking your bike up and down too.
A great hike all year round. Incredible view, especially at sunset.
Love the view from the top of the bluff!
Some fun easy free climbing there too.
