Good conditions with a hard pack trails, but that won’t last long!

Well kept trail! A bit of a walk to get to the official trail. Parking is unclear (I parked on the side of the road)

Nice 1 hour-ish hike. Little ups and downs through the forest, and then one or two sections with a little bit of a steeper incline. We wanted something enjoyable for a hiking duo where one of us is getting back in shape and the other enjoys more adventurous trails than some of the flatter options around and this was perfect for that. We came equipped with bags to carry out the garbage mentioned by a previous reviewer but did not see much of any garbage along the trail.

Pleasantly surprised by this trail. Kids (6 and 4) really enjoyed it. Also had baby in stroller but had to ditch the stroller along the river as the trail gets more rough.

Great views, large trees, remains of an old stone building, I walked down onto the river, there were fish jumping, heron and bald eagles. I recommend taking all the trails and really exploring the area, there is lots to see. I parked on the Lino road and walked the dirt road to the trail.
