Herring Cove Falls are at the start of the Herring Cove Trail. It’s a two tiered waterfall with rich green moss surrounding it.  The trail goes over the top of the waterfall giving you some interesting views.  Prior to the crossing, there is a steep trail to the base of the falls.  To get to the falls, drive down the Point Wolfe Road from Route 114.  Drive about 6.1 km until you see Herring Cover Road on your left.  Drive out herring Cove Road to the end.  The drive is about 3.2 km.  At the parking lot, and looking out to the Bay, you need to head to your right.  You will see the trailhead for Herring Cove trail.  Follow the trail about 50 m to the falls.
