We really enjoyed this hike in today. I think it’s a bit more challenging than “easy” especially with 2 dogs and 3,5, and 7 year olds, but we got through no problem. The view was awesome and well worth the trek. I would recommend bringing along sturdy shoes as the trail is washed out in many places, and a bathing suit to enjoy the refreshing water. Definitely going to do this again.

Great little set of falls. Nice and shallow for kids to play around in. Short walk in along a path beside stream. Entrance to path is right at the beginning of roadway. You might think your going into the ditch on the right but there is a trail there.

We love this trail, both summer and winter. Our whole family hikes it together and often. Even the dogs!

Trail is in very poor condition in some sections - there have been some washouts and after a heavy rainfall some of the side streams were a little treacherous to cross. Expect to get your feet wet. It's also a little more challenging than it's normal "Easy" rating.

Some inconsiderate hikers have left broken bottles and beer cans all over the area around the falls itself. and a few along the trail. We packed out some of the garbage, but there was no enough space in our bags to get it all.

The reward is definitely worth the inconveniences though. Wading and swimming in the water was refreshing. Finding the hiding spot behind the falls, and looking out through the falling water was also a lot of fun. Watch your step if you are wading, there are hidden and unexpected drop offs and whirlpools carved by the falling water.
