Wapiti Lookout trail starts at the former Forest Interpretive Center site (Frank Marvin Center) located on east side of PR #366 south of junction #366 & #367. From the starting point, hike the un-maintained trail up to the lookout of the Valley River headwaters. In the summer, this is a great spot for bird watching and in the winter you get a great viewpoint and might spot a deer or two. The surrounding area provides valuable habitat for a variety of species. Be aware there are no trail markers, although you may encounter past signage in the area from the old Wapiti Trail and Centre.
