This is an un-maintained multi-use trail for hiking, snowshoeing and possibly mountain biking. The Timbers Trail, as the locals call it, loops along old stable trails, through an old growth mixedwood stand, up to what is known as "Elk Hill". Elk Hill provides a spectacular view of the forested area below and is an unique feature which catches you by surprise. Note: at this time the trail is marked only with flagging tape.

Great trail for snowshoeing in the Ducks. Enjoy the short, yet steep trek to the top of Elk Hill.
