The Swan Valley Museum Winter Trail is a scenic, multi-use trail, which is open to the public year-round. Take in a little history of the Valley during your visit. The trail is maintained by the Swan Valley Trails group, and many local volunteers have dedicated time to enhancing the trail over the years. In this network of trails there are multiple options. There are three loops to the east and one loop to the west of the trail head. On the east side, the short loop return trip is 1.13 km, the medium loop return trip is 3.64 km and the long loop return trip is 4.1 km. On the west side, the return trip is 2.2 km. In total, there is 6.4 km of groomed trails to explore. Many locals walk their dogs here and it’s said to be the unofficial off-leash dog park. Please note the area is not fenced and owners are strongly advised to clean up after their dogs.
