South Steeprock Lake Winter Trail is a 12.2 kilometer heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Birch River, Manitoba, Canada that features a lake and is rated as moderate. South Steeprock Lake is a larger lake (~420ha) in the Porcupine Mountain Provincial Forest. The lake is accessible by canoe in the summer or by snowmobile in the winter months. There is no summer trail to South Steeprock Lake. This snowmobile and/or portage trails are not maintained, and therefore fallen trees may complicate passage. South Steeprock Lake is home to very targetable northern pike population.
