Schade Lake is a moderately sized lake (73.1ha) in the Porcupine Mountain Provincial Forest. The lake is located along an old haul trail and is most commonly accessed by snowmobile in the winter months. Because of possible logging operations, be sure to contact the nearest government office for updated information before using this road. This trail is not maintained, therefore fallen trees may complicate passage. There are two ways in. The main trail is slightly wider to facilitate trailering a boat in, where as the shortcut is narrow and crosses over a berm. The trail crosses Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation land and users are advised to contact the lands manager for permission to cross land.
