Only the cabin is cool. Not a hike not worth anything else.

Good for a leisurely walk. First half is a little muddy. Flat and straight, easy to follow. Many signs marking the trail direction.

Cute trail with great marshy views. The historical site is always very cool to walk through as well. Takes closer to 45-50mins to the end and back. If you want to go further it branches off to smaller trails near the watch tower.

The trail itself was boring. The old house was really cool to see but that’s about it. Quite muddy this time of year. I would recommend parking on the west side to see the nearby historic site, but after that there’s not much. Walking through the campground was a bit disorienting.

The walk itself is a road, not a hike. My family was disappointed as they wanted a more scenic hike but I enjoyed the history along the way.

More of a walk than a hike, it’s gravelled. Pretty muddy when we went, was nice to be out and about but probably wouldn’t walk it again. There’s some nice side trails and game trails going into the field as well as along the creek

Very easy, straight, flat trail. interesting things to see. The middle part is campground, which may make it less appealing in summer. Very friendly chickadees that flew close and when I tried to take a photo one landed on my phone. Mix of open fields and wooded areas.

I'm usually pretty forgiving of the trails in and around Winnipeg since no one should expect pro trails in this area, but this one kinda sucks. Three stars for the neat homestead, beginning, and end of the trail. Going through the campground wasn't necessarily difficult and the directions were fine, it was just super boring and took us out of the experience. Fine walk for families and kids, cool landmark, nothing else worthwhile.

Easy trail for kids. Raspberries along the path near the homestead. A little confusing to follow in the camping area as one sign was slightly around the corner.

A nice walk. A good part of the trail is simply through the roads of the campground. There was signage but coming from the south trailhead it was a bit confusing in the campground. Easier to follow on the way back. Unfortunately the province is not maintaining the Kudlowich homestead so it has deteriorated.

good easy trail to ease the kids back into hiking. trails are well kept, and the play ground along the way was a lot of fun and a great place to stop for a picnic

Not too bad of a trail, don’t go during night time as you need to see the ground where your feet go.

Very easy, just a walk down a trail. Old bridge with a creek. Homestead is cool.
