Olsen Lake is a smaller lake (13ha) in the Porcupine Mountain Provincial Forest. The lake is located along an old logging road and is most commonly accessed snowmobile in the winter months. It is not recommended to hike this trail in the summer because of length and damage created by ATVs, however is still possible. Because of possible logging operations, be sure to contact the nearest government office for updated information before using this trail. This trail is not maintained, and therefore fallen trees may complicate passage. Olsen Lake has historically been a stocked trout fishery.
