There were parts of this trail that were nice, specifically the parts that overlapped the trans Canada trail. But other than that I would not recommend this trail, it cuts across private property and it looks as if the locals were fed up with the trespassing and blocked part of the trail, it was very overgrown in spots and you pretty much have to cut across people’s back yards to stay on the trail that’s on the map. It is also very poorly marked, so if you decide to do this trail you need to keep a close eye on your GPS.

SW corner of marked trail now passes through a new housing development, so using the map as a guide we followed game trails to make our way to the next leg of marked trail. Otherwise this is a quiet walk down sandy quad roads in the woods. In mid-April the snow is not all melted.

Zero stars but it won’t let me... this trail is poorly marked and leads you into a very densely forested area where you end up on private property, fenced in, and surrounded by shotgun shells. This was literally the most terrifying hike I’ve been on and not because of terrain or wildlife.
