Good trail for dogs. A little muddy in some spots but you can avoid them fairly easily.

Really cute trail that goes through lovely riverbottom forest. The first half of the loop (if you go straight after crossing the bridge) runs along a farmer’s field, right up against the forest. There were a few flooded spots on this stretch but the fence is down in many places so you can get around them by using the very edge of the farmer’s field (the uncultivated bit, don’t walk on the actual field obviously.) Once the trail turns into the forest and reaches the river, it wasn’t immediately obvious where to go, as there were some watery sections here too. But it was very easy to get around them making my own trail, just moseying along the river. About halfway through the forest the trail becomes very clear, but you don’t necessarily need to stick to it, it’s a very easy area to explore right now as it’s mostly dried mud left behind from the flood, little undergrowth. No mosquitoes yet and didn’t see any ticks. Two beavers swam by me in the river. The park itself was packed but there was hardly anyone on the trail. Plenty of space to pass each other safely. In the forest section I was by myself. I think the mud scared people away, but it’s totally passable, and a perfectly charming stroll. Highly recommend if you’re in need of some quiet, peaceful forest bathing!

Very wet.

The trails were very wet and deep water in some spots but if you go off to the side of the path you can get around. The water is flowing nicely toward the river which creates mini water falls along the path. Its amazing to stop and hear only the sound of the water trickling. Bring rubber boots and you will be fine.

Beautiful day for a walk but that meant a very wet and very muddy trail with sections under water. We’ll have to give it another go sometime this summer or fall when it’s more dry.

I thought this was a nice trail to walk with the family. The only issue I had was that just past the half way point there was a lot of blown down trees and branches.

I often go here. Beautiful 300 acre park just outside Winnipeg and it's famous for the kayaking, trees, wildlife, and bright red bridge. Well maintained trails, too!

Nice trail for a winter walk. A few blue Jay's but not much else. Park has almost completed the new washrooms.
