Beautiful trail! We four adults went for a bike ride to Birds Hill park. It is better to go early morning to view the sunrise. Some parts of the trail is gravel. Had really good time.

We use this trail all the time when biking to BHP. If starting from the city or the town of Birds Hill go into Silver Springs Park and then head to Garvin Rd to enter the trail. Beautiful scenic ride and a fun downhill ride in Silver Springs Park. Also a fun place to find some geocaches. :-)

I use the trail lots because it's traffic free. It's very open so wind and sun can be a big factor. I have riden full 90 km and it is well worth it

Great trail to ride to either Birds Hill Park or to Lockport from the parking lot @ Hall Rd & Garven Ave. Head out in the morning before the sun gets hot and the wind picks up. Remember this is a multi use trail so be aware of people and their dogs, both on & off leash.

Nice trail close to the city for biking and hiking. Perfect way to get to Birds Hill Park (no traffic). My advice is bring lots of water and wear a hat / sunscreen during the summer months. Dress for the weather. Not much shade or shelter. Best time of the day to do the East section of the trail is first thing in the morning. AWESOME sunrise views over the floodway.
