Cross Lake is a larger lake (126.5ha) in the Porcupine Mountain Provincial Forest. The lake is located along an old haul road, and is most commonly accessed by snowmobile in the winter months. It is not recommended to hike this trail in the summer because of damage created by ATVs, however is still possible. This trail is not maintained, and therefore fallen trees may complicate passage. Cross Lake is home to walleye, northern pike, and yellow perch populations. There are two different access points along the trail (2.3km and 4.4km).
