This trail skirts the shoreline through a forest and past some camps and a public swimming area. Heading North along the West side of the lake will lead you to crossing a marsh area (with a water crossing since the bridge is out). You can use the Camp Wannakumbac conference centre as a turn around point if you wish to return to your starting point on the trail.

Easy, flat, and paved walk. Heavily trafficked with by a lot of cyclists with no bells. A few other walkers warned us about a sighting of 3 cubs and a mama bear, but luckily we didn’t run into them.

I did part of this trail and it's very nice. be prepared to be at this trail all day if you want to do the whole thing and possibly prepare yourself to even spend the night too. if take the whole thing it leads to other camo grounds in the park

One of my favorite trails. Dogs love the water and cool trees.

It's a great trail for hiking and biking with plenty of places to stop and cool off with your feet in the water. You have to ride through a foot or water for about 50ft where the bridge is out, or you can carry youe bike across the stream ( about 15ft across and thigh deep). After Frith Beach the trail gets sketchy for bikes. Okay for hiking, though.

I do this trail often in the summer to go to south beach for the afternoon. Nice short trail that’s good for walking or biking. Lots of bugs in the shady areas but besides that I can’t complain. Great views of the lake and rocky beaches that are great for dogs!
