The Child's Lake Trail is a network of maintained loop trails along the west shore of Child's Lake. The hiking trailhead begins in the Child's Lake campground. Loop #1 follows the west shore of the lake and circles around for a total hike of 4.1 km. The second loop continues from loop #1 along the west shore to a lakeside rest area where you can enjoy a break at the warm-up shack. If you're up for the longer hike, the full loop back to the trailhead is 6.15 km. In the winter the trail is groomed for cross-country skiing.
