The Bowsman River Fishing Trek is an excellent stream for adventure seeking trout anglers. The river has been stocked with brook trout and is an ideal place for hard tackle stream fishing. It is not recommended to fly fish this river as it is quite narrow. The recommended route is quite strenuous and would be difficult to complete in a day for even the most adventurous trekker. However, there are multiple entry and exit points along the river, so do some additional research in order to create a day or multiday trip that would fit your schedule. Portions of the trail back are along active logging roads so be sure to contact the nearest government office to gauge logging activity before your trip.
