Very open. Walk along dikes. Did not enjoy.

This is the most joyless, monotonous slog of a trail I’ve ever been on. My wife and I had high hopes but ended up walking six + kilometers of mown field in straight lines. Couldn’t even look up at the somewhat interesting wetland around us because we’d twist an ankle in the random divots and holes. There is nowhere to take a break and enjoy lunch or anything, not even a handy rock. Definitely do not recommend.
