The trail head is easy access from the Coquihalla Highway. Park at the Zopkias Reststop and the trail starts on the west side of the rest rooms. Pack water as after the first 30 minutes there is no water source until you reach the first tarn about an hour past the Zupjok Peak. This route provides numerous offshots of exploration and phenomenal views of the shark finned Vicuna Peak. At the right time of the year the alpine meadows are carpeted with blueberries.
