Love coming to this lake. It’s a super easy quick hike. Great for dogs. Definitely a must do in the summer. The only thing I’ll say is the first part is a very steep uphill but after that it’s quite steady of a trail.

Nice and easy one, I did with Freind in April.

Very nice trail. Lovely scenery, lots of forest and water. Rocks and terrain. Lake is nothing to write home about but it’s a beauty west coast trail. Round trip only took 1.5 hours. Have done it twice I would do it again.

Beautiful hike, but the lake was disappointing. Not a good vantage point to really appreciate it.

I would say it is a moderate hike as far as difficulty, really enjoyed it!

The only reason I didn't give it a five star, is because my wife and her friend are both pregnant and said this is a moderate hike-not an easy one!

Oh and don't forget to bring a towel or at least swim trunks. We made do with undies and what not - but not ideal.

Nice little hike, couple of hrs, maybe bring bear spry just in case coz balck bears are around if not many ppl in the area. When u get to there lake you can go all the way around, few places seems like you can't go further but you sure can with few minor obstacles! Spry bug spray coz there is lot of big and mosquitos! Enjoy

An uphill start warms you up, and then you get to enjoy a beautiful, well-groomed trail alongside a stream walked by towering Douglas fir and cedar. Quite wet today (early April of a year with a late spring), but well worth it. Nice spot for a not-too-technical trail run as well.
