The view up top is well worth the work. Be careful of the map provided here as it took us up the old route which was still a trail but largely grown in and lots of bush whacking. If you open the map look for the "New watersprite trail" which is black dotted line I believe. Where we parked there were people siting in their rifles when we came back down. We did not park in the proper place but we did park at the old trail head.

Great trail - you defiantly need a high clearance car and AWD - though our Tesla model S worked with on the “extra high suspension” VERY Nice hike, however once you hit the boulders it’s gets a little rough, however, the view at the end is all worth it. No bear sightings.

It’s quite flat. Difficult to return without skins on.
