Wapiti Ridge (#25) is a 2.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Golden, British Columbia, Canada that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

make sure you have maps loaded when you go out. got to the ridge, and decided to follow it for a while. the spiderweb of trails in the area got us a little lost. worthwhile adventure, though.

Hiking

After trying to access the trailhead from both above and below and finding the road gated, we parked at the bottom off Macbeath road where it turns north. There is a parking lot and outhouse and we hiked up the Sternwheeler trail which joins a network of other trails to Wapiti Ridge.
